Studio SEKOYA

Studio Sekoya is a new London-based brand strategy agency. They wanted a logo and brand design that would help them launch and create an immediate presence in the industry. Be inspired by California and “West Coast USA vibes” was the brief. The client particularly liked this part of the world and he wanted his company’s branding to reflect the laid-back nature and skate, surf and musical influences of the area. He derived the company’s name from the sequoia trees found in the region.

Instagram was used as the primary method of marketing communication. The first few posts were planned to cover detail about what brand strategy is and how Studio Sekoya can help deliver their service.

The research journey took us on a trip through the origins of skateboarding and surfing, the West Coast hip-hop scene, 1969 “the summer of love” and a range of Californian flora and fauna.
